Resuscitation workshop using NZRC Level 5 management guidelines This workshop is very popular with Nurses and Doctors both together and seperately and is a good update for those not in the acute clinical setting everyday - This is a five hour hands on skill and scenario based workshop using realistic equipment in a team setting
- Adult, infant and child collapse skill stations
- Manual defibrillation and Automated External defibrillation skill station with an overview of basic E.C.G recognition
- Advanced Airway skill station
- Resuscitation Drugs
- Scenarios in real time including scene management, patient assessment skills,and human factors and communication skills in an emergency setting
- This course is recognised by the RNZCGP for CPD purposes
- NZRC Manual Level 4/5 Basic Resuscitation for Health professionals (2007) and the NZRC Manual Level 7 Advanced Resuscitation (2007) available for the pre reading prior to the course.
